I'll volunteer for a Git'cher Fill run on Saturday that circles the bluffs and rolls across the highway to the fist of god side for a quick out-and-back.

Intermediate skill level, and high fitness for recreational riders (moderate for racers), finishing in about 1.5 hours. Can be run a second time with breaks that will add about 30min to an hour (or the first time if no takers), could also be stretched out to something more epic!

Had fun with it tonight, it's my current favorite ride.

http://sportypal.com/Workouts/Details/619197?key=935ca36515cc1de32798ffeb027499e35363f774&ms=1

My friend and I have been riding for a couple of months now and have not been able to find that many trails. We have rode at Kinkaid, Cedar Lake, and Glendale but have not been able to find any other good riding spots. (We actually got lost out at Glendale which made for a pretty fun adventure.) We have stopped and talked with every Ranger Station and they have not been much help at all. I was just wondering where some good fun spots to ride are at? (We live in Carbondale but do not mind driving somewhere to ride.) Thanks alot!

I just started using this, apparently works with any gps phone. Current version is free and has been for a while.

It will creep out the technophobe that it tracks your location frame outer space (sorta), but if you already know your phone does that you might as well get some personal use out of it!

Maps your route, posts it to FB if you want. I'm using it to log my miles for the month to see what I'm actually getting in. If you ride with friends, your avg time will really suck since it doesn't pause when you do

I think if you follow this link you can get to all my workouts/rides (3 so far). If not my user name is Guder.
http://sportypal.com/Workouts/Details/597012?key=dd188636ca1616d8b22bf27f587f4b4d3efc05a3&ms=1
