Sorry for the delay as the planning period coincided with with shop transition.  We have a few loose ends to tie up, but Oct 16-18 are the dates this year.  Once we have things firmed up we will make a formal announcement which should happen in the next few days.

When the weather cools in the next 3 weeks or so, I will start working on the Lake Glendale trail system agian and help ready it for the Fat Tire Fest. In the mean time, this Sat. Aug 29, I'm riding the trail system. I'ii be at the boat ramp parking lot at 9;00 am. Anybody who wants to join in, well come on down.

Just in case you didn't know Pat, Woodnwave is having thier anual mt. bike race, [Race to the Canal] on Oct 18th. I don't know if that will affect your schedule of Fat Tir Fest.

Hmmm . . . I'd have to say a different weekend would be better.  Lots of people do that race.

Figures, I should have checked that.  The weekend after was booked for various reasons.  The only saving grace is that the race is on Sunday so Fri and Sat are still open.  Specialized is on board to bring two demo trucks, men and women bikes, and the weekend is open at the campground.  We've got a few new tricks up our sleeve for this year, stay tuned....

Correct, got the site updated Monday (but not finalized).  We are a go and registration is open!  I've got a little polishing to do on the site, but it is good for the important parts.  Will be adding a few more tricks up our sleeve in the next few days as well.  Hope to see you all there.

Sweet site, when are you going to start carrying gear that matters; like wakeboards and other stuff that doesn't require air in the tires or running of any kind....I got all excited when it said "boards"

It is my intention to work agian on the Lake Glendale trail system on Sat., Oct the 3rd. I know that the trail to Dixon Springs is blocked and will need quite a bit of clearing. Also  part of the trail to the Scenic Overlook needs some clearing. I know of a few other places that need a small amount of work also. If I can't get it all cleared on that Sat, I will probably work agian on it that Sunday. But before I let work take up my whole weekend, I will probably ride it on Sun. am before I work on it. As time gets closer, I will post a time. If anybody can help, well start posting.

If I can get free, it'd be nice to break out the CS bike.

I plan to be down that weekend...but not sure if I will be free or not.

My father is having double knee replacement surgery earlier in the week so he may be getting released that weekend and I will have to help get him back home and situated.

If I can get away I will help out.

I have not ridden the Shawnee this summer so not sure if The Ruby or anything else nearby is rideable.  I think Greg's group has been riding mainly road and around OHG and McKinally.
